Used Lightning R-84, Medium

If you are looking for a stiff, light-weight climbing bike, go no further! The Lightning R-84 is the only fully suspended carbon fiber performance recumbent on the market. This bike is in great shape and comes with an exceptional component package.

A Shimano 27s drivetrain includes an 11-34t cassette, XTR rear derailleur, bar end shifters, a Dura Ace triple crankset (30/39/52t, 172.5mm) and a Dura Ace front derailleur. Brakes include a Paul Components front V-brake and a standard caliper rear brake. The HED front wheel (406) with Schwalbe Kojak tire and Mavic rear wheel (700c) with Compass Pass tire are in great condition.

As seen in the picture, including pedals, the bike weights 23 pounds. Sizing on these bikes is a bit odd and there doesn't seem to be any standardization. As it sits, it will fit an exseam of about 39-43". The wheelbase is 45.5".

There is a small amount of surface rust on the brake bolts and the seat frame. See pics.
